  • Reporting to Project/Ops Manager and CEO 

  • Approximately 15-20 hours/week but can increase as we onboard more clients

  • Pay range $32-45/hour, depending on experience 

  • Location: Remote, US or Canada Based required

About the Job:

The Ads Manager is responsible for supporting paid search and social campaigns (primarily on Google + Meta platforms). They will work closely with leadership and creative teams to ensure that campaigns complement and support the various channels while achieving the client’s media goals that have been set in place.

 

This person will take a hands-on approach, working directly within ad platforms to assist with account setup, develop strategies, manage campaigns, and drive optimizations. Additionally, they will contribute to performance reporting, analyze key metrics, and pinpoint areas for enhancement. Above all, this role requires a passion for delivering meaningful results and making a positive impact for our clients.

 

This person is an independent thinker, problem solver, and initiative taker. They care about doing quality work, and love to plan ahead. Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct weekly strategy updates with Team DEJA, sharing insights, performance, and next steps.

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients via private Slack channels, providing updates, requests, and addressing questions promptly.

  • Perform daily checks in Meta Ads Manager across all assigned accounts to monitor performance and identify opportunities or issues.

  • Manage campaign optimization, including real-time adjustments, budget pacing, creative refreshes, and audience strategies.

  • Write ad copy and assist in media creative design to support campaign objectives.

  • Develop, manage, and refine custom audiences, lookalikes, and exclusion lists.

  • Execute competitive analysis, audience research, and targeting strategy to maximize campaign effectiveness.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver comprehensive weekly reports, including a screenshare walkthrough of insights and changes.

  • Provide data analysis, launch debriefs, and performance reports on a monthly or quarterly basis as needed.

  • Proactively recognize campaign issues, propose solutions, and escalate when necessary.

  • Assist in posting and boosting content across various social media platforms to support broader marketing goals.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in digital marketing with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on platform management running paid social (Meta) and paid search.

  • Deep understanding of Meta’s Ads Policies, A/B testing, targeting & custom audiences, Meta Pixel implementation.

  • 1-2 years experience with creating full ad funnels.

  • High proficiency in Ad Copy & Creative Development is a huge plus.

  • Experience in other Ads Platforms (Google, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn) is a plus.

  • Experience working with in-depth detailed excel sheets.

  • Strength in interpreting data, deriving insights, and transforming insights into action.

  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate plans, budgets, and performance for various campaigns to multiple audiences.

  • Self-driven with excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Basic understanding of social and PPC media metrics, conversion funnels, and the ability to link results with specific elements of a broader campaign.

  • “Owning it,” which means gracefully solving whatever problems or challenges that present themselves, without having to be asked.

  • Positive attitude and a team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Agency experience in a client facing role is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Project Management software (Asana), Communication Software (Slack), and the Google Suite environment is a plus.
